高富帅 gāofùshuài

Meaning: Rich, tall and handsome guy.

It is the contrary of 屌丝 diâosī. It describes a really rich, handsome and tall man/boy. The most important characteristic of this word is that it is composed of three adjectives: 高 tall, 富 rich and 帅 handsome. The most important adjective between is 富 fù, meaning rich!

Need to know: This word started to be used in 2008 when, in China, the Japanese cartoons “Gundam” ( “高达” ) became famous.
