Meaning: My heart almost collapsed!

When the Chinese cartoonist 陈安妮 (Chen Anni) published her cartoon on-line with the title 《对不起,我只过1%生活》(“Sorry but I’ve lived just a 1% of my life”) it immediately lead to controversies and some netizens started to attack her. So, few days after the cartoon was released on the internet, 陈安妮 was interviewed by CCTV and while expressing her grief, anxiety and pressure towards the attacks she received on her blog she used the expression “我的内心几乎是崩溃的!”

After this interview, the expression became really popular in China and, right now, it’s used in any circumstances, not only when there are some problems and pressures occuring.
