Meaning: Ehi, wake up from what you’re doing!/ Get a move on!/Hurry up!/Shake a leg!
This is a sentence who can be vulgar or even very familiar at the same time! It depends in what kind of relationship you’re with the person you’re talking to. However, I suggest you to always use it with your “holy” close friends, or somebody would get hurt by your words.
This expression can point different feelings: anger, happiness, unwiling to let go of a situation, confused, in heat or outwardly cold or retiring but deep and passionate inside. If you have any of these emotions you can use 睡起嗨！ to push or encourage the other person to make a move. It’s especially used between young people in order to make fun of somebody or to encourage someone to live freely and willingly.
Need to know: “。。。，起来嗨！” is another expression which can be used with a similar meaning to the one showed today. You can use it in many different situation the important thing to keep in mind is the sentence structure: “XX，起来嗨 ！”
For example: if there’s somebody who’s eating and don’t reply to you or don’t mind what’s happening the sentence structure would be: “吃你嘛(好逼)，起来嗨！”
In Use: The sentence structure is –> “睡你XX，起来嗨” , or you can use it as an exclamation towards somebody, in order to make him/her wake up from their state of mind and make a move:
“长假来了，睡起嗨！来一场说走就走的旅行吧。” (Long vacations are here! Hurry up and come once to make a trip!)
“睡你嗨，你想做就做！” (Get a move on! and do what you wanna do!)
Interesting things: A song sang by the Japanese vocaloid 洛天依 (Luo4 Tian1yi1) expresses this free, willingly and happy-go-lucky way of life.
